AFFECTED FAMILIES PROGRAM
This program is designed to assist individuals who are in a relationship with someone accused of sexually abusing a child, or who will be supervising a sexual offender around a child and/or who will be monitoring internet usage of the individual accused of committing a sexual offense. The course teaches several important key points regardless of the supervision goals (supervision around children and/or internet supervision) including:

The use of monitoring software to supervise internet use;

Strategies to supervise children around the offender;

Reviewing of the safety plan to assure the protection of children;

Methods to discuss issues with the offender;

Tools to realistically assess the offender's behavior;

Techniques to handle uncertainty or questionable behavior;

Guidelines to communicate with relatives, neighbors, and other 3rd parties.
