SUBSTANCE ABUSE EVALUATION
This evaluation is designed to identify cognitive, affective, and behavioral factors that reflect a maladaptive pattern of substance use contributing to impairments in one’s ability to fulfill major role obligations, or recurrent social or legal problems. It consists of a clinical interview, review of relevant background information, and application of standardized assessment instruments. Individuals are classified according to the level of severity of their problem, and recommendations are made matching their treatment needs with appropriate interventions.

What to Expect:
Your evaluation will last approximately 60 minutes. You will be asked to complete paperwork and then you will meet one-on-one with a qualified clinician for an interview. In most cases, you will be given your treatment recommendations at the end of the interview.
